TryEngineering on Campus: Hong Kong 2024
TryEngineering on Campus in Hong Kong 2024 is an initiative by IEEE Hong Kong Section to promote AI education among secondary school students. This event, held from August 9-10, 2024, at the City University of Hong Kong, aims to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders through hands-on projects and multi-disciplinary teamwork.
The program features a tutorial on advanced AI concepts, including generative models and latent spaces, as well as practice sessions using “Intelligent Painter” software. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in package learning, project design, presentation, and competitive sessions. The event also includes an industry visit to ASMPT, a world-leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer with an innovation center in Hong Kong. This program offers a unique chance for young minds to explore the possibilities of AI and its applications in real-world scenarios.
